scratches or tears that detract from the
quality of the picture?
Or have you had a photo fixed that,
well, its fixed, but the patches show
badly? Some patches can be fixed,
others not. If areas of the photo has to
be rebuilt (see lower portion of pic to
right) then you still may be able to tell
the photo was patched, but the effect
can be lessened with some softening of
the patched area.
